In 2015, Progressive Force of Tamil urged the government to pull down all the busts of non-Tamil personalities and leaders. When PFT announced that they would demolish the statue of the late Shoban Babu, one of the veteran Telugu film superstars. Tamil Nadu Telugu Yuva Sakthi rushed to Shoban’s Chennai residence where Jagadeswara led the protests. Alongside the leaders of the Telugu associations, Jagadeswara expressed his support to Shoban’s family in the fight against the evil forces. Eventually, the police were able to prevent the hooligans from vandalizing the statue.

He stood up against Jayalalitha in her long-time constituency RK Nagar. Jagadeswara also contested the polls from Hosur as many Telugu speaking people live there.

However, Jagadeswara could not manage to win either of the seats as AIADMK won them by a comfortable margin of votes. But Jagadeswara maintained to respect the yesteryear actress for addressing the sentiments of the Telugus staying in the state of Tamil Nadu. He referred to a controversy in which a film degraded Tenali Raman, and Jayalalitha ensured that the makers apologize for their mistakes. So, Jagadeswara opted to produce Amma Desam, a motion picture which would highlight her welfare schemes.
