Another name that created a buzz in Telugu music industry is the music director and singer Mahit Narayan Gilla. He was born on 24th of November in 1984. His birth place being Mahabubabad, Warangal district, in Telangana, he has command over classic Telugu music. Mahit has always been tilted towards his passion for music and singing. Well, the allele has been running all through the family. Chakri worked for over Eighty-five movies as a music director. He won the best singer for Satyam in Tollywood Filmfare Awards also a Nandi Award for his work in Simha. Mahit also has sister siblings who are into the music industry as well. “I’ve been inspired by music since my younger days and always wanted to get into music composition”, said Mahit in an interview.

His personal life had ups and downs since the death of his beloved brother. Chakri had obesity and related troubles. The doctors announced him dead due to heart attack and this shook the whole music industry and his brother as well. After his death, Mahit was unable to get himself lifted, as the controversies followed. They had a rented Somajiguda Varun Sargam which they wanted vacant as they were themselves homeless.

Mahit, and his mother Vedavathi sat on a protest against it at their Somajiguda house with the entire luggage on pavement. More hardships were seen by him as the Punjagutta police had to take action against them in the interest of public order. They took him and his mother under custody. The Somajiguda property, for now, is disputed under court and waiting for action. Rumor has it that the protest was against Chakri’s wife who was staying in the property for eight months without paying the rent and that Mahit and Vedavathi demanded her jewelry and her money. The clouds were still above the head when their studio was on fire. He got into another trouble, as all his tunes were inside which he was working on for a new project. Mahit doubted his sister-in-land complained about her at Banjara hills police station. He asked the police to open the studio and let him recollect his work.
