Amrit

Amrit is a Music Director in the Film Industry. He has worked extensively on the romantic genre of the film. He wrote the songs of famous movies such as the Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam and Ka.Ka.Ka. Anbathin Arikori. This passionate lyricist worked hard to make a position in the Tamil film industry and succeeded with his tremendous efforts. Instead of waiting years for the letter from the big town, he tried his luck with a short film titled Kaaki in the year 2015. It belonged to the genre of horror and Director Menon directed the film. It had the star cast of Nassor, Jayasudha, Meghshri, and Ashok Kumar.

It was his first step in the world of filmmaking. Amrit’s journey took a turn with the movie ‘Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam’ which was a Tamil movie, directed by Gitanjali Selvaraghavan. It was his debut in the industry with his first feature film. He co-wrote the lyrics of the songs with Vivek. The music got released by the banner of Think Music. It was starring the superstars Balakrishnan Kola and Wamiqa Gabbi as they played the romantic couple in the movie. Amrit always thought of producing good content and wanted to write heart touching lyrics from which everyone can connect instantly. This film gave the Tamil film industry not only a talented lyricist but also a thoughtful music director who knows very well to link with the audience.

After the success of the song from his first movie, there was no looking back. He got lots of projects but chose wisely. He worked with the almost same team of the first movie and made another niche in the industry with the film Ka.KA.Ka. Aabithin Arikari. He gave blockbuster songs to the Tamil film industry with his second movie. Geetanjali, Selva Raghavan’s wife directed the film and it had the star cast of Yogi Babu and Pathikanda. The genre of this cinema was different from the previous one as it was based on horror and had a very thrilling story. The songs of the movie were heart-warming and became famous over-night. This boosted Amrit’s confidence and gave him new motive to work for his audience to give them more such songs. The movie was very popular in the audience. It got so famous that the producers decided to remake it in the Telugu language. It got the title of Nannu Vedili Nevu Polevule in Tamil.
