Eldhose Alias

Eldhose Alias is an Indian singer, lyricist, and music composer, who is one of the main men behind the sensational hit song Minungum Minnaminunge... from Oppam. Eldhose Alias was born on February 17, 1983, to M.C.Alias and Mary Alias in Ernakulam, Kerala. He completed his schooling from Sacred Heart Orphanage High School in Mookkannoor and went on to study M.Com Mar Athanasius College in Kerala.

The music composer is happily married to his wife, Diniya Alias. In 2003, Eldhose was a member of the music band 91BC with his childhood buddies from Kerala and also performed in the program CONFUSION in the Kairali channel. But the team later got disbanded due to various reasons. Following this, Eldhose moved Bangalore for higher studies.

They released their first musical album Mazhathulli under their own banner 4 Musics. Eldhose Alias and the band’s passion for music grabbed them the chance to perform in Asianet Youth Club Program and gave them the quantum leap, which they very much deserved.

Initially, Eldhose Alias and the band suffered a setback in their journey of obtaining a place for themselves in the film industry. Eldhose then shifted to Saudi Arabia but still stayed in the team. 4 Musics debuted in movies with the Malayalam movie Juzt Married in the year 2015. But the band captured the attention of the worldwide Malayali audience by composing the Mohanlal starer Oppam in 2016.

The songs in the movie became an instant hit on the internet and showered them with awards, including Asianet Awards, Indywood Film Awards, Mangalam Music Awards, etc. Eldhose Alias moved back to India by the end of 2016 to fully concentrate on music. Owing to the success of Oppam, Eldhose, and team once again combined with Mohanlal in the project Villain (2017).

The other notable works of Eldhose in Malayalam include Oru Caribbean Udayippu, Ottam, Ittymani Made in China, and Brother’s Day. Eldhose, along with the band, made their debut in Kannada with the movie Kavacha (2019) and Tamil with the film Aghori. Love for music is what keeps Eldhose Alias running.
