Rashika Dutt

Rashika Dutt is an Indian TV actress who is well known for her work in “Twist Wala Love.” She was born in Rajasthan in a middle-class family. After some time, she was brought and raised in Bangalore for few years. She completed her pre-schooling from Bangalore and later completed her education from Rajasthan. While she was a kid, she was greatly inspired by Bollywood actresses and made up her mind to work in the Indian Film Industry. She lived in Rajasthan so she always looked up for "Nukkad-Natak" performances and learned a lot from them. She was a part of Theatre club of her school. She participated in many dramas held at her school level and won many of them. She also was a part of the theater group in her locality where they used to play dramas as Flash Mobs.

In 2013, she participated in Miss Rajasthan contest and was the runner-up in the same. After she completed her graduation, she moved to Mumbai to try her luck in Bollywood. To gain some experience she joined a theatre group named, Rang Rasiya. Rasika Dutt worked with them for over a year. Watching her work, she was offered many roles in advertisements, by various advertising companies. She did advertising in Hindi, as well as in Telugu. After watching one of her commercials in South Indian advertisements she was offered a role in Telugu movie. The name of the movie was “Nivenananu Pilichinadi,” a Telugu horror-thriller.

Before working in the movie, she was playing the lead role in a daily soap named “Twist Wala Love,” produced by Kabir Sadanand, which is a youth-centered show. This show was all about the love twists in the lives of youths. The show’s theme included Love stories with the blend of Love, and was aired on Channel V. The show’s star cast included various names such as Rashika Dutt, Avneet Kaur, and others. She has been very close to Hyderabad since her childhood, and when asked about her debut in Telugu movie she said, “I have been raised up in Bangalore, and I loved visiting Hyderabad during my vacations. This city is close to me and it is great fun working in Tollywood, and I’m really happy in doing so. I myself have been trying to get various projects in Tollywood but was unable to do so. Now, working in Nivenananu Pilichinadi is providing me the opportunity to do the same.”
