Priya Shri was born in 1990 in the city of Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Priya Shri has predominantly worked in the Telugu film industry, Tollywood. She is known for the romantic comedy filmMajnu(2016), starring Nani and Anu Emmanuel in the leading roles in which she plays the character named Sumanjali. The plot of Majnu has some very quirky twists including flashbacks, accidents, and so on.
Majnu was well received by the audience and made 16 crores as the distributor share. Priya Shri expresses her immense love for the Telugu movie industry in her speech in the audio launch of Majnu. She says she feels extremely lucky and grateful to be given a chance of being in a Telugu movie. She also says that she was the one who wrote her script for the film.
