Mahekhanita Murthy

Mahekhanita Murthy is famous for receiving the title of Mrs. Planet in 2014. She was the first married Indian to win the renowned title. She started her career very early as a model and won her first award in 1999 as Miss Army School, Kaluchak established in 1978 on the Jammu Pathankot National Highway. In 2000, she won Miss Y’s Men’s Club of Secunderabad, a worldwide fellowship of people working together based on the teachings of Christ. She went on to win Miss Andhra Pradesh in 2002 along with the title of Miss Congeniality.

She received the reputed crown of Miss South India in 2003 along with the titles Body Beautiful and Beautiful Smile. In 2012, she won the award of Miss RSI, Secunderabad. She was the first runner-up in the Miss Asia International Pageant in 2014. She was crowned Mrs. Planet in 2014 in Bulgaria along with the title of Mrs. Photogenic. She was the first married Indian woman to be crowned Mrs. Planet. She went to the Army School in Kaluchak. She has a degree in Hospitality Management and an advanced diploma in Cosmetology.

She also flew with the Jet Airways crew for six years as the in-flight manager for the cabin crew in Domestic as well as International flights. She works as a freelancer in the modeling business. She is a full-time beauty therapist and also has experience with interior decoration. She also uses her creativity to make things from waste materials like plastic bottles and old newspapers. She is passionate about fashion and loves to experiment with looks as well as clothes. She likes to explore with different colors and one of her favorite looks involves long gowns.

She always aspired to be in front of the camera and believes Determination, Dedication, and Discipline will keep her on the right track. She is popular in the fashion circle and has had many photo shoot assignments with startups like Singhania’s Hyderabad Sarees and walked on the ramp in various events like Talwars’ Cricket League Launch Event. She has also featured in prestigious events like Silk India Expo Curtain Raiser Event in 2015.

She walked as Celebrity Showstopper for designer Sanjana Jon in Kingfisher Ultra Hyderabad International Fashion Week in 2015 organized by Storm Fashion Company. Her hard work has led her to make a name for herself in the fashion industry. Her talent and experience would open many new and exciting opportunities for her in the future.
