Jyotii Sethi

Jyotii Sethi was born on 12^th February to Punjabi parents in Chandigarh. She has completed her schooling in Chandigarh and then moved to Patiala to complete her graduation at Punjab University, Patiala. She completed her Masters in English and also wanted to be a lecturer.The acting was never on her list. Her friends suggested her to start acting. She got a few photo shoots done and offers started coming in. Initially, she did a few modeling assignments, after which she got  noticed on social media sites. Then she planned to move to Mumbai to pursue a career in modeling itself. She also did many TV and print advertisements. According to one of the sources, she likesMumbai and the vibes of the place so much that she doesn’t want to return to her hometown. She was also approached for a Punjabi film which she completed. It has not been released yet. Some of her initial screenings and auditions in the South didn’t work well and then after two years she got the chance to feature in a comedy flick titled “Where is Vidya Balan”.

She is very confident about her film and her role and says that it would leave an impact and her work would not go unnoticed. She feels that south Indian film industry is even more competitive than the Bollywood film industry. According to her, there are so many new and old heroines in the South which trying to bag roles and make their marks due to which it becomes really difficult. She doesn’t want to be choosy about her roles.

Her first Telugu ventures have earned  her much appreciation and she is said to be working on some other Telugu project these days. Also, she does photo shoots and modeling assignments side by side.
