She is a model turned actress who comes from a Jat family of Punjab. She spent 2 years of her childhood in Delhi for her studies and later shifted to a boarding school of Gwalior.

She received a degree in Bio- tech from Indore and there after shifted to Mumbai to work with ‘fame cinemas’ as guest executive. She met Bharat and Dorris, the expertise in make-up, who recommended her to participate in the Miss India contest.

She later switched to professional Modelling and walked the ramp in big events like Lakme fashion week; Will India fashion week, NIFT, NIFD. She was also seen judging Femina miss India competition. Kaur did many add films for products like ‘Parachute’. Also she did a music video with Sukhshinder shinda. She later appeared in a TV show ‘zor ka jahtka’. She hosted the first ever Indian hockey league.
