Vengal Rao

Vengal Rao is a South Indian actor, who is popular for comedy roles in Tamil cinema. He was born in a small village near Vijayawada, in ‘Andhra Pradesh’. Vengal Rao has two younger brothers, and an elder sister. He learnt martial arts in his village. He came to Chennai to become a fighter in Tamil cinemas. Vengal Rao is settled in Chennai, doing small characters in the Tamil films. He ventured into the film industry as a stunt artist and gradually improved himself to act in the comedy roles. Vengal Rao is one of the stunt actors, who are in the field for two decades. Actor Vadivelu cheered him up and gave him an opportunity to act in comedy roles along with him.

Vengal is still surviving in the film industry with the comedy roles. He showers his credits to actor Vadivelu, who gave him a new life. Vengal Rao, has acted in the latest movie Eli with Vadivelu. Vengal Rao’s debut movie as an actor was in Kattumarakaaran, a Prabhu film, directed by P. Vasu. After that movie, Vengal is now searching for new oppurtunities. After a decade, he was given an opportunity to act in comedy roles in Tamil films. Vengal Rao has performed stunts with all the most popular stars in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Orissa, Bengali, Hindi and English.
