Thiruveer is an actor based in India, who has predominantly worked in theater. Hailing from Hyderabad, Thiruveer was born in Mamidipally Village, Mahaboobnagar, to Mr. P Venkat Reddy Venkat Reddy is an actor in the Tamil film industr >> Read More... and Veeramma. He finished his schooling at ZPHS Mailardevpally and attended colleges like Government City college-Hyderabad and Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University for further studies.
He finished his post graduation and M.phil from Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University, during which he regularly involved in theatre. In the year 2012, he worked as an RJ for 6-months at AIR FM RAINBOW 101.9 Hyderabad as RJ Thiru, before he delved into the world of theatre and acting.
He has worked in more than 40 plays as an actor and a director ever since. His first official play was Gograhanam produced and staged by the Octopus Studio at Lamakaan in 2012. Apart from acting in plays, he had also directed a few. His first directorial play Amma Cheppina Katha was showcased for the first time in 2014 on March 20, the day usually celebrated as the world theatre day for children and young people, at Golden Threshold.
On the same day, he launched his theatre group, Popcorn theatre, with an aim to promote and develop an interest in theatre culture among children. The theatre group went on to produce three more plays later, namely, Naa Valla Kaadhu, Daawat, and ‘A Man with a Lump.’
A man with a Lump, based on a Korean story with the same name, showcased in Korea at the PUM festival in 2014 was a collaborative performance of artists from Korea, Japan, and India. His passion for acting and movies made him follow latest releases in any language; this eventually led him to finally debut in cinema in the year 2016 with a Telugu movie Bommallaramaram, playing the character Mallesh.
Later that same year, he also debuted in Bollywood with the movie Ghazi, donning the role of depth controller in it. In the same year, Thiruveer was part of a Telugu short film by the name, Athala Kuthala Paathalam, directed by Sravan Pandarangi along.
Though he was now doing movies, his passion for theatre didn’t diminish; his Hindi play Daawat staged in 2016 at the 4-day multi-lingual theatre festival, was a theatrical adaptation of Rabindranath Tagore’s story The Free Lunch and received positive reviews from the critiques. In 2017, He was awarded JV Narasimha Rao young theatre scholar award from Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University for his contributions to theatre.
