Prasanth was born in Chennai on the 6th of April in the year 1973. He is an actor by profession and mostly works in Tamil films. We can also see him in some Telugu and Bollywood movies. He has also been a part of some South movies. Thiagarajan is his father. He made his debut in the Tamil Cinema when he was only seventeen years old. He acted in the film Vaigasi Poranthachu. After this film he also acted in many feature films like B. Mahendra’s Vana Vana Pokkal in 1992. R. K. Selvamani’s Chembaruthi in 1992 was another of his Tamil and Telugu mixed venture.
