Prasanth was born in Chennai on the 6th of April in the year 1973. He is an actor by profession and mostly works in Tamil films. We can also see him in some Telugu and Bollywood movies. He has also been a part of some South movies. Thiagarajan is his father. He made his debut in the Tamil Cinema when he was only seventeen years old. He acted in the film Vaigasi Poranthachu. After this film he also acted in many feature films like B. Mahendra’s Vana Vana Pokkal in 1992. R. K. Selvamani’s Chembaruthi in 1992 was another of his Tamil and Telugu mixed venture. He also acted in Thiruda Thiruda of M. Ratnam in the year 1993 and it was an action-comedy film.

Even after doing some films he did not get much fame and success. The turning point of his career came when he acted in Shankar’s film Jeans in the year 1998. It was a mega blockbuster and he soon rose to fame. He had to act in a dual role and his opposite actress was Aishwariya Rai. This film brought him several opportunities to work in bigger and more profitable films in the 1990s. He then acted in films like Kannedhirey Thorindal in the year 1998, Kaadai Kavithai in the same year, and Jodi in the year 1999. His cousin’s name is Vikram. Vikram’s mother was a sub-collector and his uncle Thyagarajan is a very popular South Indian hero. Prasanth made his debut in the Tamil film Industry as a romantic hero in the movie Vaigasi Poranthachu in the year 1990. In the film Perumthachan which was in the Malayalam language he played the role of the son of the hero of the film. The story of the film was written by M. T. Vasudeva Nair. Prasanth also acted in films like Good Luck, Appu which were great success in the South.

He also acted in the movie Parsen Tharein. Priyadha Varam Vendum was a project by the director Kamal and Prasanth was a part of the project. Vishu is pretty satisfied with his character and believes he can do full justice to the role assigned to him and help the project be a success and gain applause from the audience. The film also stars a newcomer actress as the female lead. The movie has the backdrop and storyline that deals with the concept of rebirth. Vishu prepares for his movie roles and parts by undergoing a makeover from head to toe both superficially as well as from the inside. Prashanth was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He is an Indian film actor who is popular for his performances in Tamil film industry. But the movie which brought him immense popularity and stardom was a blockbuster rom-com ‘Jeans’ in the year 1998, which was directed by Shankar.
