Rani Pulomaja Devi was an Indian Lyricist who predominantly worked for the Telugu Cinemas. She was born on 11 July 1967 in Bitragunta, Nellore District, Andhra pradesh, India. Rani has done her schooling in Anumasamudrampeta, Nellore district. She graduated from Arts college Jammalamadugu in Kadapa district, Andhra Pradesh. India. She completed her Flute diploma in Carnatic music. She was known as the Professional Lady Lyric Writer for writing more than 50 movies in a short time period which was also recorded in Guinness book of World records, Wonder book of world records and Telugu book of world records.
She began her career in the 1990s. Rani was the one and only Lady who completed 800 songs in India that includes Devotional, Folk, Patriotic Film songs. Rani received Best Lyricist 2015 & 2012 from BHARATAMUNI AWARDS for her brilliant work. She died on 16 September 2015.
