Medaram Naveen Kumar Goud (Naveen Medaram) was born on 7th August 1979 in the Nizamabad district of Telangana (previously Andra Pradesh). The onset of his career was as visual effects artist and then went on to become the rapidly moving forward film director. Medaram was brought up in Nizamabad where he developed his interest in arts. To pursue his interests he enrolled in the Jawaharlal Nehru Arts University, Hyderabad to pursue his Bachelor’s degree. As his inclination towards cinema grew, he proceeded to attain his Master’s degree in Visual Effects from Bournemouth University, United Kingdom. He received his Diploma in Film Making from the Raindance Film School, London. It was while he was at the Raindance Film School that he started writing screenplays. He wrote for short films and feature films.
Still, at the school, he directed a short film with a team of five other directors which was titled “Moving On.” Finishing with his education, he produced and directed a short film “Philophobia.” He worked in the United Kingdom as a Visual Effects Compositor with the Double Negative Studios, The Moving Picture Company, and the Pinewood Studios. With progress in the professional world, he started working in the United Stated of America in Fremont as a Web Designer. His earliest feature work began with the 2005 TV series Captain Scarlet for which he was the digital compositor for 1 episode (Instrument of Destruction: Part One). The next year, while working with MPC Pictures Company) one of the very reputed companies for VFX, he scored his chance to work with bigger franchises. Having gained the experience of working with the big brands, by 2007, he started working with Double Negative studios, United Kingdom. He worked as a digital compositor, visual effects artist, rotoscope artist, and 2d artist at Double Negative Studios. His massive project in the year 2016 was the film, “The London Life.” Intimately drawn from real life, it is a story of the hardships that students face post arrival in London. Medaram did the screenplay and the story, visual effects and the Direction for the movie.
