KVR Mahendra is a Film director who works in the Telugu film industry. He is a screenplay writer and a story writer too. He belongs to Warangal district, Telangana. Since a very young age, he was very much passionate about cinemas and went on to work with many Telugu movies. He directed a short film named "Nisheedhi"( The Dark). The short film is about the people who sacrificed their lives in the year 1960, during the agitation of Telangana in the year.
This movie received several awards internationally. Across 18 countries, Nisheedhi was screened at International Film festivals. In 2019, Mahendra wrote and directed a love story named "Dorasani" that is set against the backdrop of the feudal system, which persisted until the late 1980s.
