‘Geetanjali Malli Vachindi’ Streaming On This Platform

After an unimpressive stint at the box office, ‘Geetanjali Malli Vachindi’ is now streaming on OTT.

The horror comedy, directed by Shiva Turlapati, is now streaming on the Aha platform. The movie starred Anjali in the lead, alongside actors like Sathya, Sunil, etc. The movie was released on 11 April 2024.

‘Geetanjali Malli Vachindi’ is the sequel to the 2014 horror comedy movie ‘Geethanjali’. The movie was directed by Raj Kiran, and had Anjali in a dual role, alongside Harshvardhan Rane, Shrinivas Reddy, Rao Ramesh, Brahmanandam, etc. in other important roles.

Made on a budget of just 4 crores, the movie was a surprise success, and earned a lifetime collection of 10 crores. Some even say that the core plot for ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’, especially the twin sister angle, was lifted from this movie.

However, the sequel did not get the same love from either the masses or the critics. The movie was not very grand in terms of budget or promotions, but the audiences rejected the movie completely. The lifetime collections of the movie were not even half of the original budget, and ultimately the film ended up at less than 3 crores through worldwide collections.
