CV Reddy is a successful Indian producer, director, and story writer in the Telugu film industry. He has also made a name in Kannada and Tamil cinema. Some of the famous movies in which he worked are Okkadine (2013), Chennai Super Police (2009), and Badili (1995). In Pagale Vennela, he was a director. The remainder of the movies were produced by him. Mudduga was a hit in the theatres in the year 2014. He also got Nandini Award for the film “Badili”. In addition, he has conjointly been a member of the Indian Panorama Committee and the Academy Awards Committee. Moreover, Reddy was also the first person from the Telugu industry to be appointed as the chairman of the Oscar India Jury in 2017. He had to decide India’s; entry under the category of “best foreign language film”.
