Shobha Naidu was a celebrated Indian classical dancer, choreographer, and teacher who dedicated her life to promoting and popularizing the Telugu dance form of Kuchipudi. She was born on 23th October, 1956 in Anakapalli, Andhra Pradesh, India. Her journey in the world of dance began at a young age when she started learning Kuchipudi under the guidance of her guru Vempati Chinna Satyam. She established her dance school, Kuchipudi Art Academy, in Hyderabad. Throughout her illustrious career, she performed extensively both in India and abroad and became known for her grace, technique, and emotive expressions. She was exceptionally skilled in portraying mythological characters, and her performances of the Satyabhama and Padmavati were viral.
