Madhavi Deverakonda is the mother of the renowned Telugu actor Vijay Devarakonda, her eldest son. She was born on 24 September 1970. She finished her schooling from Vidya Dayini Model High School in Hyderabad, Telangana. She was initially a school teacher and later became the school’s principal. She started a personality development school called ‘SpeakEasy’ in 1994 in Hyderabad. She is an entrepreneur and personality and skill development trainer. She married Govardhan Rao Devarakonda, a TV serial director, on 1 July 1988. They have two sons namely Vijay Devarakonda and Anand Devarakonda who are both actors.
