Master Nagaraju was an Indian artist working for the Telugu film industry. He was born in 1949 and began working in films at the age of 14 in 1963. It was because of his age at which he began acting he used the prefix "Master" the whole lifespan. He acted in the Hindu mythological movie Lava Kusa, released in 1963. It was the first full-length colour film that was produced in Telugu cinema. The movie was based on the part of Ramayana written by Valmiki Maharshi. The film was shot in Tamil and Telugu, with slight differences in the cast but the same movie name. At that time, the film had a great success at the box office with around rupees 3 crores. Master Nagaraju then acted in the 1979 movie Lakshmi Pooja. The film was originally made in Telugu. Master Nagaraju died on 7th September 2020 in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. He died at the age of 71; the medical reports revealed that he died because of respiratory complications.
