In 1970, Pendharkar earned National Film Award for Best Promotional Film for Weave Me Some Flowers, in 1987 National Film Award for Best Non-Feature Animation Film for A.B. See, in 1970 National Film Award for Best Educational/Motivational/Instructional Film for Forest and The Man, in 2010 National Film Award – Special Jury Award and Special Mention for Eka Studioche Atmavrutta, and in 1996 National Film Award for Best Historical Reconstruction and Compilation Film for Bhalji Pendharkar. After giving so many masterpieces to the entertainment industry in 2010, Prabhakar Pendharkar left everyone with all his memories.
