Chandrakant Kakodkar, in full, Chandrakant Kalyanadas Kakodkar was born on 21st March 1921 and died on 23rd November 1988 at the age of 67. Chandrakant Kakodkar was a Marathi novelist. Rajesh Khanna's most famous film, 'Mere Naseeb Mein A Dost' which led to his stardom in the Bollywood industry and his fifteenth consecutive 'blockbuster hit' film is based on Chandrakant Kakodkar's written novels. Another movie, 'Main Tulsi Tere Angan Ki', is taken from the novel, 'Ashi Tuji Preet,' written by Chandrakant Kakodkar. Chandrakant Kakodkar has received an honour and award for the Best Story nomination for the film.
