Dr. Murhari Kele is a writer, an expert, and an analyst in power distribution. Murhari was born on 10th March 1966 in Kelwadi Village Tal Bhoom in Osmanabad district of Maharashtra. He graduated in Electrical Engineering from the Government College of Engineering, Aurangabad. He has also done an MBA (marketing), an LL.B. from Marathawada University, Aurangabad, a Bachelor of Journalism from Lokmanya Tilak Open University Pune, an APDI from IGNOU, Delhi, a DCM from CEDTI, Aurangabad, and an Energy Auditor from the Bureau of Energy, New Delhi, and done his Ph.D. research from Rashtrasant Tukdogi Maharaj University, Nagpur. He has written seven books, five are in Marathi and two in English. He has published over ten research papers in Marathi and hundreds of articles in newspapers. His most famous book is Jagi Aisa Baap Vahwa which is a biography of his father. Over ten institutions have given his book honor. He has studied the PPP model in the power sector, which is very effective in the Indian power sector.
His two papers on power distribution were published by the Ministry of National Power Training Institute in Faridabad. He is associated with Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad. Under his guidance, students are pursuing their Ph.D. from Marathwada University. He received the awards for his excellent contribution to social, technical, cultural, spiritual, and literary fields. He has acted in the role of Rahim Chacha in the Marathi movie Mala Aai Pahije (I Want Mother), which was directed by Lakshman Siku More and released in December 2015. He is also a member of the Akhil Bhartiya Chitrapat Mahamandal & Indian Films Writers Association, Mumbai. He is the director of Maharashtra Power Development Corporation Limited.
