As a producer, Mangesh Ram Joshi has produced movies like Lathe Joshi in 2016 and Karkhanisanchi Waari: Ashes on a road trip in 2021. He has directed and written these movies himself. For Lathe Joshi, Mangesh Ram won the Best Indian Cinema Special Jury Award in 2017 at the Bangalore International Film Festival. For the same film, he won the “Best Film” award in 2017 at Pune International Film Festival.
