Actress Prachiti Mhatre is known for her vibrant role of Mastani in the Marathi television series Sound of Heaven: The Story of Balgandharva (2011). Prachiti was born and brought up in Thane, Maharashtra. She completed her apprenticeship in early childhood care and education at Singhania School, where she was a student and completed a course in education management. She then worked as a pre-school supervisor at Godrej Udayachal School. Ever since her childhood Prachiti was keen on pursuing a career in the film industry.
She has also received her training in classical music under the guidance of Pundit Vinayak Kale. Prachiti was a part of several advertisements and got the opportunity of working alongside the cricket icon
