The well-known Indian dancer and choreographer Megha Sampat was born in Thane. Meera is primarily working in the Hindi and Marathi films and entertainment industries. She completed her primary education at M.H. High School. She studied B.Com at Mumbai University. She pursued a filmmaking certificate from the London Film Academy. She is a trained classical dancer. She started to learn dancing at the age of six. She learned Bharatanatyam and Kathak from the Gurus, Mrs.Shobana Kollam and Mrs. Anuradha. At the age of 16, she started teach dance to kids. At that time, she realized the difference between dancing and choreographing. She is the owner of Padanyaas Entertainment.

She worked as a choreographer for films songs, music videos, stage events, and other events. She worked on 25 music videos and six ad films. She choreographed the 2015 Filmfare Awards in Marathi, the 2016 Radio Mirchi Music Awards, etc. She is the representative of the Indian Film and Television Choreographer Association and Akhil Bharatiya Chitrapat Mahamandal. She knew her husband from the time she started learning to dance. They founded a dance academy together. Through Pandanyaas Entertainment, they started organizing various events and giving free online dancing workshops. She won the Thane Gunijan Puraskar in 2016.
