She was born and brought-up in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India by a middle class family. Her mother is Meera Kaintura, employed as a District Disaster Management officer at Haridwar. She belongs to the Hindu family. Speaking about her educational qualifications, her schooling was done at a notable school, Raja Ram Mohan Roy Academy, Dehradun and desired to go to a University for her graduation studies. Afterwards, she received her degree in Master of Business Administration from the renowned D.A.V. (PG) College, Dehradun. After being done with her education, she went straight into the film industry because of her childhood dream of becoming an actress.

Her keen interest in acting assisted her in moving ahead in this line and motivated her during the challenging phases. She has given abundant masterpieces vastly loved by the audience due to her incredible acting in all the shows and movies. Her work has given vast popularity to her, due to which she has been a part of several projects in the industry. She made her debut in 2015 with the popular television show, love by Chance.
