Nikhil Mahajan is an Indian writer and director who have worked in several movies and series. In 2011 Nikhil made his debut in the documentary film Half a Billion Dreams. It was written, directed, and produced by him. The film revolves around the drama of the middle-class youth of India. In 2013 he did Pune-52. Nikhil was the writer and director of the film. It was a drama-thriller that was released on 18 January 2013. Girish Kulkarni, Sonali Kulkarni, Sai Tamhankar were in the cast of the film. In 2015 he created Baji by directing and producing the film.

It was an action-adventure-fantasy that was also written by Nikhil. Shreyas Talpade, Amruta Khanvilkar, Jitendra Joshi were in the cast of the film.
