Sujay Hande is one of the partners at Ocean Films Company Private Limited. Hande has also co-written and directed various short films and worked as an assistant for several feature films. He is the director and executor at the Ocean Film Company. Sujay graduated from D G Ruparel College, Mumbai. On completion of his bachelors, the director pursued creative management and majored in Films from FLAME (Foundation for Liberal and Management Education), Pune, where he won the best student award for films. Hande is the son of the Marathi actor, singer, writer, director, and TV personality Ashok Kisanrao Hande.

Ashok Hande started a musical group Chourang to promote Indian culture through dance and music. The group presented shows like Mangal Gani Dangal Gani, Amrit Lala, Madhubala, Awaaz Ki Duniya, and Marathi Bana. Chourang was started in 1987, and it has completed 34 years and is managed by Sujay Hande, who works as its executive producer. Sujay is married to Parul Deval Hande, who is a counseling psychologist and art-based therapist. Besides being a producer, director, and writer, Sujay is also passionate about music. He is pretty active in Marathi theatre and was lauded for his efforts as a music arranger for his play Paalkhi.

Even though Hande is one of the producers for the Marathi series Maza Hoshil Na, aired on Zee Marathi, he recently turned an actor for his own show. Hande can be seen playing the role of Monty, the impostor who claims to be the actual Aditya in the series. The show has reached a climax, where Sai, Aditya, and their maternal uncle are making their best effort to salvage the company. On the other hand, Monty, played by Hande, and JD might be nabbed by the police soon. Maza Hoshil Na is a popular Marathi television series well received by the viewers and continues to occupy the top slot. The series focuses on the life of Sai, Aditya, and his maternal uncles and is a romantic drama punctuated with hilarious moments.

Tales on Blindness, produced by Hande, is a documentary that focuses on the journey of a European who, along with two friends, an Indian and a Brazilian, visits India to explore its culture in search of her Portuguese roots and the connection between the two countries. In the process, she encounters different people and circumstances. In addition to that, Hande has also been a producer of another Marathi comedy show Bhago Mohan Pyare. This show also gained a lot of admiration from the audience.
