Suresh Vinayak Khare is a well-known director of Marathi Cinema. Khare was born in a middle-class family of Maharashtra. His father, Vinayak Khare, was a teacher, and his mother, Sarita Khare, was a homemaker. Suresh had two sisters. From a very young age, Suresh was drawn towards theatre and films, which made him a film-maker. He has worked in many films and serials. Khare made his directorial debut with Marathi film Chimani Pakhare (1981). Other notable films directed by him include Savitri, Yashodha and Arjun Govinda. Khare also did television shows.
