Amit Sawardekar is a Marathi director known chiefly for the Marathi television series Devmanus, aired on Zee Marathi. Sawardekar is originally from Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Maharashtra. He did his schooling at New English School Vahal and pursued higher studies at DBJ College, Chiplun. Sawardekar helmed the 2020 Marathi series Devmanus, produced under the Vajra Production banner. Devmanus, a crime-thriller television series, is based on the life of Santosh Pol, a serial killer dubbed as Dr. Death.
