Its international occurrence continued with screenings at the Black Nights Film Festival in Tallinn, Estonia, and the Dhaka International Film Festival in Bangladesh, where it secured the Best Cinematography Award. Akshay's directorial finesse was praised by Deborah Young of The Hollywood Reporter.

Akshay's second feature film, "Sthalpuran - Chronicle of Space," reverberates intensely with audiences. The film is about the story of Dighu, an eight-year-old boy who is facing challenges to adapt to life in his grandparent’s village in the Konkan region of India.

The film's premiere at the 70th Berlin International Film Festival marked a significant milestone, with a recommendation for the prestigious Crystal Bear Award in the Generation Kplus section. Further, it also found its place among the Top Ten Films screened at the festival, curated by celebrated film expert Daniel Kasman for Mubi.

The film was praised by the film critic Bharadwaj Rangan. He was impressed by the skills of Akshay Indikar and his ability to use systems to convey thoughtful storytelling.Akshay Indikar's journey is awe-inspiring, and it continues to enthrall viewers and the audience.
