Eventually, she gained an interest in cooking and started making scrumptious and delightful meals that were enriched with nutrition. Within no time, she became a popular chef in Lagos, specifically in the Indian community. Since 2014, she has started to participate in various cooking shows and competitions. Shrunkhala Sharma was the winner of the cooking competitions Urja Master Chef 2015 in Lagos and Super Chef 2016, in Pune, India.
After moving back to India, Shrunkhala Sharma and her sister founded ‘Treat Away’ in Pune, and her motive is to give the best vegetarian, premium services in Pune. The menu is especially based on an authentic fusion of Indian and continental cuisines. They started from scratch and even accepted orders for small events and house parties. In 2016, Shrunkhala Sharma gave and passed the audition for Master Chef (2016) but decided to quit when she was asked to cook non-vegetarian dishes during the show. Shrunkhala Sharma is famous for her Chappan Bhog Thali, which she prepared on Janmashtami, which was dedicated to Lord Krishna. All the dishes were vegetarian, and she did not even use garlic and onion as it was a Satvik Thali for the offering.
