The movie Maradona was released in 2017. Sruthy was born in Kozhikode, Kerala and was settled in Manjeri, Kerala.

She has studied computer science and engineering from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. She has taken part in many singing competitions during her college life. She was doing a job in the IT sector but left it to pursue her passion for singing. She currently lives in Kochi, India. After listening to her song, Vishnu asked her to sing Kaadhale and see if it suits her. When she sang the song Vishnu got impressed and she got the song. She started learning about music when she was 3 and grew up listening to classical music as her parents are also music lovers. Her ideals are M.S. Subbulakshmi and M. Balamuralikrishna.

She has worked in other languages also like Tamil in film Dha Dha 87, Telugu Kannada and Marathi while she is working in Malayalam movies. She also loves painting and playing the violin.
