Pramod Payyannur is a director known for his work in the Malayalam Theatre industry. He is also a writer and a lyricist. He was born on 17th May 1971 in Bengaluru. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Direction from the School of Drama of the Pondicherry University. He has a Master’s degree in professional arts from the same university. He is working towards getting a Ph.D. in ‘Visual Images in Tagore Literature’ from the Visva Bharati University.
He has been awarded numerous awards for his work in the theatre industry. His movie ‘Balyakalasakhi’ received a lot of critical acclaims. He also helped in the writing of Vijeesh Mani’s Vishwaguru. He also worked as a lyricist in N. Shyju’s Veyilum Mazhayum.
