Anand Paga

Anand Paga is an Indian director and writer. He was born in Telangana to a middle class Brahminfamily. Though at that time aspiring to work in the entertainment industry was quite unimaginable, Anand as a child enjoyed going to the movies and absorbed the stories and scenes like a sponge. As he grew up, he took a full time IT job after graduating but his love and passion for films never died. With his IT job, he also took up film making. He started learning about film making and attended online workshops which were conducted for aspiring filmmakers. He not only directed but also produced, edited and cinematographed his 6 short films and 1 documentary.

Some of his short films earned him recognition and awards at film festivals. Some of his awards that he bagged for his short films are Dadasaheb Phalke - Official Selection of DUTY (Hindi Short Film), Global International Film Festival - Special Jury Award for DUTY (Hindi Short Film), Pune International Shorts- official Selection of DUTY (Hindi Short Film). His works are Breakup Anniversary (Malayalam short film), Angel Priya (Hindi short film) and Grahanam (2021), which was his dream project, his first Malayalam feature film.
