Yoo Hyun Mi is a South Korean screenplay writer. She debuted with the drama series Green Rose in 2005. The suspense–romance drama was directed by Kim Soo Ryong. It featured Ko Soo, Lee Da-Hae, Lee Jong-Hyuk, and Kim Seo-Hyung in important roles. In 2006, she scripted Want To Love Again for SBS. Park Hyung-Ki directed the 128-episode series that featured Kim Byeong-Se, Lee Eung-Kyung, Kim Ji-Seok, Shin So-Mi, Song Dong-Il, Yoon So-Jung, Oh Ji-Hye, Lee Seung-Hyeong, Kim Hyeong-Beom, Seo Hee-Seung, Yeong-rok Park, Yeo Jin-Ku, Jang Se-Yun, Byeon Ju-Yeon, Jang Eun-Bi, and Lee Kyung-Hwa. In 2008, Yoo scripted The Scales Of Providence, directed by Hong Chang-Wook. The series was telecasted on SBS as a 16-episode series. Song Chang-Eui, Lee Sang-Yoon, Kim Yu-Mi, Jeon Hye-Bin, Oh Tae-Kyung, Yun Woon-Kyung, Lim Hyo-Sun, Lee Tae-Rim, and Moon Sung-Geun were seen playing the main roles.

In 2010, her series Home Sweet Home Story Soon >> Read More... was aired on MBC. Oh Kyung-Hoon and Lee Sung-Joon directed the series with Kim Hye-Soo, Hwang Shin-Hye, Shin Sung-Woo, Youn Yuh-Jung, and Lee Sang-Yoon in lead roles. In 2012, she wrote the drama, The Bridal Mask. Directed by Yun Seong-Sik and Cha Young-Hoon, the series had Joo Won, Jin Se-Yun, Park Ki-Woong, and Han Chae-Ah in the main roles. In 2014, Yoo penned Golden Cross, directed by Hong Seok-Ku and Kim Jong-Yeon. The 20-episode series that telecast on KBS 2 had Kim Kang-Woo, Lee Si-Young, Uhm Ki-Joon, Han Da-Gam, and Jung Bo-Suk in the lead roles.

In 2015, she scripted for a TV movie, Thank You My Son. It aired on KBS 2. Ko Young-Tak directed it. Lee Dae-Yeon, Yun Yoo-Sun, Ahn Jae-Min, Choi Jin-Ho, Lee Ah-Hyun, Lee Jung-Shin, and Kim Ji-Young were cast in the main roles. in 2018, her series Sky Castle Sky Castle is a South Korean web series aired on t >> Read More... was aired on JTBC, and it got a high rating among the audience. Jo Hyun Taek directed the series with Yum Jung-Ah, Jung Joon-ho, Kim Hye-Yoon, and Lee Ji-Won in the lead roles. Snowdrop, written by Yoo released in 2021 on JTBC. Jo Hyun-Tak directed the series, featuring Jung Hae-In, Kim Ji-Soo, Jang Seung-Jo, Yoo In-Na, Kim Hye-Yoon, Yoon Se-Ah, and Jung Eugene.
