Noh Hee Kyung is a screenwriter in the South Korean TV industry. She was born on 21st March 1966 in Hamyang County, South Gyeongsang Province in South Korea. She went to Seoul Institute of Arts and learned Creative Writing. Mom's Gardenias in 1995 is her debut work. In 1996, she wrote The Most Beautiful Goodbye in the World. This series is a tribute to her mother, who died in 1994, stated Noh. The series had Na Moon Hee and Joo Hyun in the cast. With this series, Noh earned a good name. The series won the Best TV Drama award at Baeksang Arts Awards in 1997. She adapted it to a stage play in 2010 with Jung Ae Ri and Song Ok Sook in lead roles. This story was adapted as a film in 2011, and Min-Kyu Dong directed it as Last Blossom.

In 1998, she penned, Lie, featuring Lee Sung Jae and Yoo Ho Jeong in the lead roles. Most of her stories are based on motherhood, relationships, and sentiments, and that’s why her stories are hit, and she became famous. In 1999, she penned Did We Really Love and Sad Temptation. In 2000, her work, Foolish Love, was a hit. It featured Lee Jae Ryong and Bae Jong Ok. In 2004, she wrote, More Beautiful Than A Flower, featuring Go Doo Shim. She received the Best Writer Award at KBS Drama Awards and Best TV Drama Award at the Baeksang Arts Awards. In 2006, she wrote a melodrama, Goodbye Solo. Chung Jung Myung, Yoon So Yi, Kim Min-Hee, and Kim Nam Gil were featured. This series was a career-defining one for Kim Min Hee. She penned the miniseries Miracle in 2006. Jang Yong played the lead role.

Several Questions That Make Us Happy, Worlds Within, Drama Special, Padam Padam, That Winter the Wind Blows, It's Okay, That's Love, Dear My Friends, The Most Beautiful Goodbye, Dear My Friends, and Live are some of her works. In 2008, she wrote a book, Everyone Not in Love Now Are Guilty. In 2005, she received the Best Screenplay Award at the 11th Shanghai Television Festival for Becoming a Popular Song. In 2017, she was honored with the Best Screenplay award at the 53rd Baeksang Arts Awards.
