Kim Kyu-tae is a TV director and producer from South Korea. He began his career at the KBS network in 1996 as an assistant director and went on to work as a second unit director, most notably for “Yellow Handkerchief “(2003). During this time, he collaborated on “The World That They Live In” (also known as Worlds Within) with scriptwriter Noh Hee-Kyung for the first time. “Anagram” and “Blue Skies of Jeju Island”, two low-budget but artistically attractive and experimental episodes by Kim, received critical acclaim in 2004. He worked as an assistant director on a variety of productions, including "Paper Crane," "Orient Theatre," "Tough Guy's Love," and "Invitation," and as a director on projects such as "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo," "Live," and others.
