Kim Seong-hun is a film and television director from South Korea. On February 20, 1971, he was born in Gangneung, Gangwon Province (South Korea). He is a screenwriter, film director, and television director. Kim Seong-hun began his filming career as an assistant director in the romantic comedy drama named “Oh! Happy Day” in 2003. He was an associate director and script editor for “He was cool” in 2004.

“How the Lack of Love Affects Two Men” in 2006, was his first feature film directed by him. “ A Hard Day Click to look into! >> Read More... ” won critical and commercial accolades for Kim Seong-hun (2014). At several major festivals, it received international recognition and acclaim from reviewers and spectators. It went on to win and was nominated for countless awards. "The Tunnel" (2016), was a box office hit. Director Kim teamed up with Netflix in 2019 to direct another drama “KINGDOM”, which was a big-budget zombie mystery series that became a global hit.

For “A Hard Day” in 2014, he won multiple honors, including the Best Director and Best Screenplay. He again won the best director award in 2015 for the same movie.
