Mushraf Alam Zauqu was a Hindi writer and author. He was born on 24th November in the year 1963 at Aurah, Bihar. After completing his primary education, he completed his post graduation and obtained his M.A. degree. He then stared writing his first novel Auction House in 1992. His other novels are The City of Silent, Muslim, Statement, Breathing Slowly and Tracing the Fire.He was a post modernist fiction writer and also author of stories on sensitive, social and political issues. He was also a dynamic, purposeful and constructive writer. There are many of his literary works among which fourteen are novels and eight fictions are there to be noted.
Two novels: Death of Mass and Women in Mortuary were written by him focusing in the political situation of India. He also wrote sketches of contemporary writers, experimenting other genres and many books. He wrote on diverse themes. He, through his literary works, spoke on several issues ranging from minority issues to all classes. He penned against social oppression, political based oppression and injustice. This literary figure breathed his last on 19th April in the year 2021 at Delhi, India.
