Azad Alam is a director, producer, screenwriter, and writer working in the Hindi film industry. He is from Mumbai, Maharashtra. He pursued a BA Honors in English Literature from the University of Delhi and a Diploma in Still Photography from Triveni Kala Sangam, also in Delhi. He did a PG Diploma in Film Direction from LV Prasad Film and Television Academy.
Azad started his career in Bollywood with Rajkamal Films International Studio, and his first film was Vishwaroopam, released in 2013, under the studio banner. He participated as a dialogue supervisor and an assistant director. He then worked in Ye Hai Bakrapur (2014) as a dialogue writer and an additional screenplay writer.Â
