Anmol Arora

Anmol Arora is a freelance writer and editor of Indian origin. He completed his Senior Secondary Certificate in Humanities/Humanistic Studies from the National Institute of Open Schooling in 2014. He was born and raised in Delhi, and has always had a passion for writing and pursued a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies. While in college, he was an active member of the Literary Society and Quizzing Society. After completing his Bachelor's degree, Anmol Arora went on to obtain a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism from the Asian College of Journalism. During this time, he developed a keen interest in gender, health, politics, food, and culture, among other things.

Later, he worked as an intern at Times Internet in the Lifestyle Department, where he edited and proofread around 100 listings based on the company stylesheet, wrote and published 50 SEO articles and photo stories, and other tasks that included video shoots and restaurant reviews.

In 2020, he worked as a Trainee Journalist at Zee Media Corporation Limited, where he contributed to an increased readership of digital platforms through the curation of original and sourced reports and breaking news items, while following SEO principles and social media analytics. Anmol Arora then transitioned to become an independent journalist and started freelancing. His work has appeared in Indian and international publications like The BMJ, Xtra Magazine, Autostraddle, Whetstone SA, Mint Lounge, Deccan Herald, News9, BOOM FactCheck, and more. He is skilled in web content writing, copy editing, proofreading, content analysis, interviewing, feature writing, creative writing, and journalism.
