She was born on 5 August 1990 in Pune, Maharashtra, India. Vinita Mahesh holds a bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the University of Mumbai. Vinita Mahesh loved acting at a young age and always wanted to be a respected actor. Her first show was Nava. She was also seen in Dhadkan Naye Sawaal, where she played Navya's best friend, Ritika Joshi. She also played in Saraswatichandra and played Kumud's cousin, Kumari. She played a key role as Yamini Singh in Bhatak Lena Baware, who later played a crucial role in Mohi. She was married to her friend who studied in the same college, Tejas Thakkar, but the couple filed for divorce due to marital problems.
