Seema Mishra

Known for her character as Deepali Sikandar Bhatia in a famous tv show named, Madhubala -Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, Seema Mishra was born and raised in Mumbai. Even as a child she was interested in acting, theater, and stage performance. She is a cinephile and used to bunk school, to watch movies in theaters with her friends. When she was in college, she realized that it was the time to pursue her dream and thus joined an acting school. It was exactly that moment when her life changed with a debut in Bollywood when she was cast in a movie named Kabhi Socha Bhi Na Tha (Released in 2007).

After a series of small roles in both television serials and movies, she got the main character in one of the most famous TV show in India, Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon (May 28, 2012 - August 9, 2014), aired on Colors TV. She plays a negative role, even though her character is based on pure negativity, and she did some nasty things in the TV show; she is loved by a lot of people who watch the show.

She likes to watch movies, dance, travel and to read books in her spare time. Being a movie fanatic, she keeps herself updated with all the new movies released; she also likes to listen to Indian songs, especially item songs. She has read many novels, as it is a hobby she got from her mother, who liked to read a lot. Seema’s favorite book is “The Fountain Head” written by Ayn Rand. In an interview she named central and western parts of Europe to be her favorite destination to visit, and even though she has never been to Europe, she likes it a lot. Her career graph has up’s and down’s, as she admits in her interview that she is choosy in choosing an act for her; she also said that she is ready to play negative roles but as long as her acting ability is utilized on the screen.
