Sahiba Khan portrayed the role of Uma in the TV serial ' Hasratein' that was telecast on Zee TV in the mid-1990s. It was based on the Marathi novel "Adhantari" by Late Shri Jaywant Dalvi. Sahiba Khan appeared in episodes of 11 to 17 in this TV serial. Sahiba Khan also acted with Gajendra Chauhan and Upasana Singh in the serial ' Kul Ki Jyoti Kanya' on DD National. It is said that that serial was inspired from Aamir Khan’s “Satyamev Jayate”.

The serial spoke about the importance of female child, and the idea was taken from the issue of female foeticide. The serial was directed by Alok Nath Dixit, a very well-known name especially for Doordarshan serials and is produced by D.S.Productions.

Sahiba was one of the top actresses in Doordarshan serials, and she became quite popular with her television appearance in DD network. She was one of the leading ladies on Indian television and was a rage, mostly among the middle-class. She not only made the name for herself in the industry but also in the hearts of audiences. The actress could not get the chance to act in Ekta Kapoor’s serial . Otherwise, she could have easily been ranked as one of the top glamour actresses of a TV screen. She is an example of an actress who could not prolong her career for a long. She wanted author-backed roles and those roles that gave the message to the society, and since she did not accept all roles that came her way, her career was short-lived.

Rushaali then appeared in another star plus project Pratigya and teacher. Rushali Arora and her husband Bobby recently welcomed their bundle of joy , daughter Gia after 12 years of their marriage and she is currently enjoying her motherhood to the fullest by being a stay at home mom.
