Ritu Vij (born in 1963) is a well-known Television actress born and brought up in New Delhi and is currently residing in Mumbai. She did her schooling from ‘Rukmani Devi Jaipuria Public School’, New Delhi. Later on she did her graduation from ‘Miranda House’, University of Delhi. After her Studies, she shifted to Mumbai and is now seen in many television shows, ads as well as movies. She is married and has a daughter “Vanya Vij”. She is been a part of a number of popular TV serials, where she did some good roles. She played a role in the movie “ Mere Dad Ki Maruti” starring Ram Kapoor and she has also been a part of the movie “Ek-The Power of One” starring Bobby Deol released in 2009. Along with movies, she has also worked in many television serials. Some of the most famous roles she has done were in the serial “ Chhajje Chhajje Ka Pyaar” on Sony TV and “Rab Se Sona Ishq” on Zee TV. Ritu is also seen in “Ardhangani – Ek Khoobsurat Jeevan Saathi” where she played the role of Sonalika Bhattacharya. After doing these shows, she took a sabbatical and then made a comeback with the show “Navvidhan” on Life Ok playing a role the eldest in the family also starring ‘Iqbal Khan’ in the lead role. More recently she was seen as “Pammi” in the serial “ Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar” on Sony TV.

Riva Bubber

Riva Bubber is an Indian television actress and former model, who is best known for her role in the recent Indian soap opera ‘Ram Milaayi Jodi’ (2010) & ‘Beintehaa’ (2013). Riva once was a model, who appeared in several television advertisements during the initial period of the evolution of the Indian television industry. During her decade long association with the world of entertainment, she modeled for a range of brands. Her appearance in the famous Cadbury’s advertisement and an act in the music video opposite ‘John Abraham’ are still fresh in the memories of the viewers. After earning a lot of popularity in the modeling world, she tried her luck in acting, where she debuted with ‘Kyun Hota Hai Pyarrr’ (2002). The series was aired on Star Plus & was also broadcasted by Triangle TV of New Zealand. She played the role of main lead ‘Nikita’ and the plot was about the life of three friends, namely Nikki, Adi and Ash - their lives and love. After this stint, she joined the team of ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ (2000), where she was assigned the role of an oldest daughter-in-law of the family called as ‘Damani Gautam Virani’. The show gained immense popularity and it transformed the lives of everybody who was associated with it, in any way. These assignments helped Riva a lot in shaping up her career. She took a break from the entertainment world due to some reasons. After a while she was again active with some noted television programs such as 'Kya Hadsa Kya Haqeeqat' (2002) 'Ayushmaan' (2004) and 'Kkavyanjali' (2005). She played some noted lead characters in these programs. Recently, She was seen in the popular television soap ‘Ram Milaayi Jodi’, where she was seen playing the role of ‘Vimmy Bedi’, who is the mother-in-law of the lead character of the series. Most recently, she was seen in the popular television soap ‘Beintehaa’, where she was seen playing the role of ‘Shabana Ghulam Haider’. The series was based on the life & the events of ‘Zain’ & ‘Alia’ and their platonic love for each other. On the personal front, she has two brothers and she lives with her mother in Mumbai.
