The sitcom focuses on the life of seven siblings and follows the concept that cousins remain for each other for their whole life, that whatsoever happen they stand by each other and support each other. The show began its shooting in Jaipur on 18th August 2014. It highlights that Nisha, the central character is a tomboy and is bold. They live in a joint family which has three brothers.

They have differences between them but still nothing comes in between the love that the cousins share. Umesh, Kirti, Suketu, Jwala and Nisha, all are facing problems in their life. Umesh wants to open an independent restaurant but is scared of his dad, Suketu dreams of becoming an actor but his grandfather doesn’t support his choice of career and Kirti breaks her engagement with Ritesh when she finds out that his intentions are not good, and that he is a very selfish person. Jwala is the smallest of them who is harassed by her tutor, and when Nisha encounters this she becomes furious, and she saves her and reveals that she was also once a victim of the same.

Meanwhile, Dolly, who is married, is harassed by her husband, Sumit. All of them help each other to solve their problems. When Dolly, portrayed by Purvi Mundane, is trapped in a problem, they all reach out to her to help her. She decides that she will stand for herself and fight against the injustice. All of them stand with her. She leaves his house and comes back to her mother’s house and decides that she won’t ever return to his home and will plan her new life once again.

The series telecasted a total number of 269 episodes in a single season, and the audience loved to follow the storyline of it. Nisha’s character was appreciated. Purvi’s work in “Nisha Aur Uske Cousins” is incredible and she delivers her top-notch performance every time. Her work is awesome and fascinating.
