Neha Pednekar was born in 1989, in Mumbai. She has done her schooling in Mumbai but she has not gone to College as she  had to start working very early in her life in order to become an independent person. She completed her higher secondary and started working at a tender age of 16 years. 

She took up her work as a hair stylist and started working under a beauty expert. Slowly she developed a passion for the job and even got a tattoo of a scissors on the back of her palm so that the scissors move with her fingers when she worked her fingers for hair styling. 

She was interesting in acting since her childhood and always wanted to act in TV serials. She omitted it for some time when she started in her career as hair stylist but it did not much tiem for the acting bug to come back to her and she started looking for some acting assignments to fulfill her child hood desire. 

During this year, she got the opportunity to fulfill her desire by acting in the new Colors channel serial Shastri Sisters Shastri Sisters are a family drama of Indian Telev >> Read More... She was offered the role of the eldest of four sisters Alka who is married to Rohan Pandey who is being portrayed by Sujay Reu Sujay Reu is one of the best actors who is perform >> Read More... Sujay Reu . The character is very timid and simple which does not match with the character of real Neha who is bubbly in her real life. The serial has started from July 21, 2014 and is slowly picking up the TRPs.
