Having acted in the country's first television soap opera, Loveleen Mishra is best known for her performance in Humlog, 1984. She started acting for the show while she was still in college. Her other most notable works include writing and acting for movies like Yuva, City of Joy and Godmother. Although she is successful in films, she confessed in an interview that she finds theater more satisfying. She has also acted in Ismat Apa Ke Naam Part 2 — Kambakth Bilkul Aurat, a play directed by Naseeruddin Shah.
Loveleen has also worked on two radio plays for BBC. Although she started her career with television, she finds more happiness in writing and conducting seminars for children on acting, instead of taking on TV series. She has had the experience of working with mainstream directors such as
